In October of 2005, Marché de Fleur, Floral by Lauren, was created as a division of George J. Cornille & Sons, Inc., a wholesale produce company located just south of the downtown Chicago area. George Cornille began the family business in 1923, believing that freshness and quality are the hallmarks that distinguish a fine company.  Knowing that produce and flowers are both natural products from the earth, George and his son, Henry, began to sell plants year-round for all seasons. The Cornille Company holds one of the oldest floral licenses in the State of Illinois.

Tom Cornille, along with his daughter, Lauren, the fourth generation, began Marché de Fleur, a full-service floral company in the fall of 2005.  Lauren, a Certified Florist through the American International Academy of Floral Design, has dedicated the past seven years educating herself  in the trade. With a passion for flowers that began as a little girl helping her grandfather in the garden, Lauren believes that flowers are an expression of art and emotion.  She strives to create unusual arrangements by using unique products.  It is not uncommon to find fresh specialty fruits, vegetables, and herbs, along with exotic florals incorporated in her designs.

We believe in bringing our customers the highest quality products and services. With our extensive experience in weddings, special events, and everyday floral design, our family at Marché de Fleur can accommodate all your floral needs.
